Madhuri Dixit’s superfan Pappu Sardar in Jamshedpur deviated from his usual grand celebrations this year, opting for a simple, spiritual Hari Kirtan to mark the actress’s birthday.
Jamshedpur – Pappu Sardar, a dedicated fan of Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit, celebrated her birthday with a marked departure from his usual pompous celebrations this year.
Held in Jamshedpur, the event took on a spiritual hue, with the atmosphere turning devotional through a Hari Kirtan.
May 15, Dixit’s birthday, has been a day of grand festivities for Sardar for many years. However, this year, there was neither a cake cutting ceremony nor any of the usual fanfare.

Instead, the celebration was a quiet, religious one, with many attendees participating in the Hari Kirtan till late into the night.
Sudhanshu Das, a member of ISKCON present at the event, remarked, “Madhuri Dixit’s fans are present all over the world who will wish her a happy birthday today. Some people will also give gifts, but the gift being given by Pappu Sardar, ‘brother’ of Madhuri Dixit, on her birthday is priceless.”

Pappu Sardar, also present at the Hari Kirtan, added that the decision for a subdued celebration was influenced by the recent passing of Madhuri Dixit’s mother. “We are celebrating our ‘sister’s’ birthday with full simplicity this year by taking the name of God,” he said, adding that many foreign guests also attended the event.
