Jamshedpur – In an unsettling development, girl students from the East Singhbhum district are still awaiting enrollment in the Eklavya Model Girls Residential High School in Bahragora.
Concerned villagers have taken up the matter with the Deputy Commissioner’s office, presenting their grievances and urging immediate action.
Despite having passed the requisite examination in the previous academic year, many girl students are left without formal admission due to unfinished hostel works, leaving their future uncertain.
The villagers allege that the Jharkhand government is neglecting the education of girls, thereby hampering their progress.
The villagers have submitted a demand letter to the District Deputy Commissioner, seeking swift resolution to this problem.
They implore the government to ensure that the education of their daughters is not interrupted, underscoring the importance of female education for the overall development of their community and the nation at large.
The administration is yet to respond to these allegations and demands.
