Rushil Kumar from Hill Top School, Jamshedpur, scores 99.8% in ICSE Class 10th, sharing the national topper position with 8 other students.
Jamshedpur: Rushil Kumar, a student from Hill Top School, Telco in Jamshedpur, has scored an impressive 99.8% marks in ICSE Class 10th Board Examinations. With a score of 499 out of 500, Rushil shares the glory of being the national topper with eight other students across the country.
The result was announced on Sunday afternoon by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).
The list of ICSE toppers includes Rushil Kumar, Annanya Karthik, Shreya Upadhyay, Advay Sardesai, Yash Manish Bhasein, Tanay Sushil Shah, Hiya Sanghavi, Avishi Singh, and Sambit Mukhopadhyay, all of whom have scored 499 marks.

Meanwhile, the list of ISC toppers features Riyaa Agarwal, Ipshita Bhattacharyya, Mohd Aryaan Tariq, Subham Kumar Agarwal, and Manya Gupta who scored 399 marks each.
In the ICSE exams, girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 99.21% compared to boys’ 98.71%. Similarly, in the ISC exams, the girls’ pass percentage stood at 98.01% while the boys’ was at 95.96%.

In total, 237,631 students appeared for the ICSE exam, including 128,131 boys and 109,500 girls. For the ISC exam, 98,505 students appeared, of which 51,781 were boys and 46,724 were girls.
The ICSE examination was conducted in 63 written subjects, encompassing 21 Indian languages, 14 foreign languages, and 2 classical languages.
