Jamshedpur’s first summer camp post-COVID sees 3,000 kids engaging in 22 sports. The camp runs from May 12th to 30th.
Jamshedpur – The highly anticipated children’s summer camp began this morning in Jamshedpur, marking a significant post-COVID milestone for the community.
The camp, which incorporates about 22 different sports, is hosting around 3,000 children, making it a significant event in the city’s calendar.
This is the first summer camp to be held at the JRD Sports Complex since the pandemic, and the excitement in the air was palpable.

The camp was inaugurated by Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President of Tata Steel. Many other officials from Tata Steel were also present on this momentous occasion.
The camp offers a wide variety of sports, including cricket, swimming, basketball, horse riding, and football.
The camp will run from the 12th to the 30th of May, giving the children ample time to engage in their favorite sports and pick up new skills.
Children from neighboring states of Bengal and Orissa are also participating in this summer camp, adding to its diverse and vibrant atmosphere. This marks the first such summer camp in about three years, and the enthusiasm among the children is clearly evident.
Chanakya Chaudhary inaugurated the camp by releasing a balloon, symbolizing the uplifting spirit of the event. He extended his best wishes to all the children participating in the camp.
