Seraikela – Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, including former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi, staged a sit-in protest against the Hemant Soren-led government following the arrest of BJP leaders in Jamshedpur.
The demonstration was held on Friday at the Durga Puja ground near the Seraikela subdivision office, demanding the immediate release of the arrested BJP workers and members of a Hinduist organization in Jamshedpur.
Addressing the sit-in demonstration organized by the BJP District Committee, Marandi called for a thorough investigation of the entire episode by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) or a High Court judge.
