Unidentified miscreants set fire to seven vehicles in Bagbera Jamshedpur, leading to major destruction. Authorities are investigating.
Jamshedpur: In a shocking act of vandalism, anti-social elements set fire to seven vehicles parked near Vishwakarma Temple at Bagbera Police Station DB Road in Jamshedpur late last night.
The burnt vehicles included three cars and four pickup vans.
The owners of the vehicles arrived at the scene upon hearing of the disturbance, but they could only watch helplessly as the flames intensified.
By the time the fire department arrived and managed to control the blaze, the vehicles were completely gutted.

Among the vehicles destroyed in the fire were an i-10 car, an Indigo, a Maruti Eeco, and four pickup vans.
Due to the lack of designated parking facilities, locals have been parking their vehicles in the vacant space near Vishwakarma Temple.
This unprotected space made the vehicles an easy target for the vandals.
Krishna Kumar, a resident of Babakuti in Bagbera, has filed a written complaint with the local police station regarding the incident.
Vehicle owner Vijay Kumar Rai is among those who suffered losses due to the incident.
The police are investigating the case, and efforts are on to identify and apprehend the culprits behind this act of arson.
