Anand Bihari Dubey flays Admn for delaying decisions, accuses it of acting in collusion with BJP
Jamshedpur: The Jamshedpur District Congress has flayed the district administration for the confusion over Ram Navami processions and blamed the DC Vijaya Jadhav for acting on the behest of BJP and hurting the sentiments of Hindus.
Anand Bihari Dubey, the district president of the Congress, made these claims during a press meet on Saturday at the Bistupur headquarters of the Congress.
He said that not inviting the Health Minister Banna Gupta in the meeting held with Akhara samitis shows that the DC delayed the decision to convene the meeting of Akhara Samitis knowingly till late night to ‘defame’ the state government.

Dubey charged the district’s DC of failing to invite all the MLAs and other significant elected representatives to the meeting with the Akhda committee and the MP.
He added that just the BJP MP was present at the meeting even though there are six other MLAs in the district, who were not invited.
He said that BJP former district presidents who are not members of any Akhada also attended the meeting. On the other hand, Banna Gupta, an MLA and state minister, was not invited to the meeting.
According to Dubey, this demonstrates the Deputy Commissioner’s purposeful attempt to damage the state government’s standing among the populace by following the BJP’s directives. He said that the Congress party would not put up with this and that they would report to the state’s Chief Minister about the Deputy Commissioner’s attitude.
The claims made by the Congress party have sparked controversy in the district’s political scene.

The charges made by the Congress party have not yet received a response from the district administration or the Akhda committee or the BJP leaders.
