Purvi Singhbhum Jila Marwari Sammelan all set to celebrate Rajasthan Day with vibrant cultural program
Jamshedpur: The Purvi Singhbhum Jila Marwari Sammelan is all set to celebrate Rajasthan Day on March 30 at the Dhalbhum Club ground in Sakchi with great pomp and show.
The colorful cultural program will showcase glimpses of Rajasthani culture, and admission to the event is completely free.
According to the District President of Marwari Sammelan, Mukesh Mittal, artistes from Rajasthan are coming for the cultural program, which will include puppet dance, mehndi, swing for children, lac bangle, pottery, camel rides, and Choki Dhani.
There will also be stalls selling Rajasthani cuisine, Churna, Tota Pandit, Shooting, Selfie Corner, Flute for Kids, Toffee Candy, Cotton Candy, Jhalmuri, Chatpati, Ice Cream, Puchka, Kachori Chaat, Baba Chaat, Mangodi-Papad-Pickle Khajla’s counter, and Rajasthani store, among others.
Mittal has requested all the dignitaries of the community coming to the program to park their vehicles in the common garden ground to avoid traffic jams.
He has also urged all the people of the community to come in traditional Rajasthani dress. Children, women, men, and couples will be honored with the Best Rajasthani Dress Award.
The celebration of Rajasthan Day commemorates the establishment of the state of Rajasthan on March 30, 1949, with the name of Rajputana, which was later renamed as Rajasthan.
The event promises to be a colorful and vibrant celebration of Rajasthani culture and is expected to draw thousands of participants from every area of East Singhbhum district as well as neighboring districts.
The celebration of Rajasthan Day provides a wonderful opportunity for people to come together and celebrate the rich culture and heritage of Rajasthan, Mittal said.
