Johar Trust to organize 3-day Mage Parv festivities at Turamdih from March 24 to 26

Union Minister Arjun Munda to be chief guest, Padma Shri Dr. Janum Singh Soy to participate too

Jamshedpur: The Johar Night festival, which will take place over three days at Turamdih, will feature more than 20 cultural groups from Jharkhand, Bengal, and Odisha. Arjun Munda, the Union Minister for Tribal Affairs will attend as the event’s chief guest.

The event, set to take place from March 24 to March 26, is being organized by the Johar Trust.

Trust President Mr. Pintu Chakia said during a news conference at Tulsi Bhawan that the Mage festival would be commemorated in a grand way this year.

A cultural programme will take place on March 24, Johar Night will feature a live performance by the "Bomb Fire Crew”, the second runners up of India Got Talent TV program.

And a sporting event will take place on March 26.

The committee has made it clear that the programme is designed for entertainment and convenience of the masses, with an emphasis on supporting art and culture.

Those who will attend the programmes include Padma Shri Dr. Janum Singh Soy, National Vice President of All India Grahak Panchayat Mahtab Singh, and Ramesh Babu, National Organization Secretary of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram.

The organizers said that the committee will ensure everyone’s safety and will seek cooperation from everyone and expressed the hope that everyone will participate in the event’s vibrant cultural atmosphere.
