Wild tusker attacks and injures villager in Dumaria Bhagabandhi village

Jamshedpur: A wild elephant attacked and seriously injured a person in Bhagabandhi village situated in the isolated Dumaria block of East Singhbhum district Wednesday night..

According to information received, at about 12:30 PM, as the victim, Dhano Hembram, was returning home from a fair in the village, an elephant attacked him.

With the aid of his family and neighbors, he was swiftly transported to the neighborhood first aid facility before being moved to MGM Hospital for better care.

As soon as the information about the elephant’s attack on a villager reached the forest department, its representatives visited the hospital.

The injured person is currently receiving medical attention.
