Ranchi: The State Education and Prohibition and Excise Minister of Jharkhand, Jagarnath Mahto, experienced breathing difficulty on Tuesday and was referred to Chennai for treatment. He left for Chennai by a chartered air ambulance on Tuesday.
According to information received, owing to breathing issues, the state’s minister of Education and Prohibition and Excise, Jagarnath Mahto, left for Chennai on Tuesday in a private ambulance.
He had been feeling ill for two days, so the day before the Vidhan Sabha meeting, he went to the nearby Paras Hospital for first medical assistance.
After that, he was flown by air ambulance to Chennai.
The minister was referred to a hospital in Chennai for a routine examination since he had previously been treated there, said Dr. Nitesh from Paras Hospital, because he was having respiratory issues.
In order to enquire about the minister’s health condition, the Chief Minister Hemant Soren also visited him at Paras Hospital.
