MP says budget will prove to be cornerstone for economy for next 25 years
Jamshedpur: Bidyut Baran Mahato, the Jamshedpur MP, in a news conference on Sunday referred to the annual national budget as the "Amrit kal Budget" and went into great length to explain each component of the financial budget.
He emphasized that this is ‘Amrit kal’s’ first budget and that it would be the cornerstone for the country’s economy for the next 25 years, giving it strength and stability.
He said that India’s economy will be ranked third in the world by 2027 and the budget has funds set aside for a number of areas, including railways, road transportation, education, health care, agriculture, defense, food, rural development, tribal welfare, tourism, environment, forest management, and climate change.
He said that for those who are working, tax breaks have also been offered on incomes up to Rs. 7 lakh.
He expressed hope that the country’s economy will change as a result of this budget.
