Jamshedpur: In three separate cases, the Sidhgora police of Jamshedpur apprehended and sent to jail five people, including two juveniles. The juveniles were sent to a juvenile observation home.
In addition, in three separate cases, police seized three motorbikes, as well as 30 packets of brown sugar.
During interrogation regarding a bike theft that happened on January 25 near Mercy Hospital, one of the arrested men, Bt Gorai, was found to be in possession of two stolen motorcycles.
The Officer-in-charge of Sidhgora police station, Rajit Kumar, confirmed that five people, including two juveniles have been apprehended by police.
He said that Bt Gorai and R Gorai, both from Baridih Bhushan Colony, were arrested.
According to Ranjit Kumar, Rupesh Kumar Mukhi’s bike was stolen near Mercy Hospital on January 25.
During their investigation, the Ghatshila police had already arrested two people.
B Gorai’s name came to light throughout the investigation, and when he was apprehended, the police seized two stolen motorcycles from him.
Also, the police have seized another stolen bike that was stolen late night on March 3, resulting in the arrest of two adolescents.
Finally, in another case, the police apprehended one S Kumar Singh for possessing 30 packets of brown sugar.
