Inauguration of new Solar System on Sunday, Rs 50 thousand saving per month on electricity bills
Jamshedpur: Thanks to a recently constructed 55 kW solar system, the Sakchi Gurdwara Sahib in Jamshedpur has become the state’s first gurdwara to run solely on solar energy.
This action is consistent with the Prime Minister’s advocacy of green energy, notably solar power, as a sustainable source of public electricity.

The Gurdwara Management Committee announced the development, which would be inaugurated on Sunday before being put to use.
Nishant Singh, the head of the Gurdwara Management Committee, revealed that the committee used to pay a monthly electrical bill of nearly 50,000 rupees, but that they will no longer have to do so.
Singh also urges other businesses and homes to switch to solar electricity in order to support green energy.
