Jamshedpur: In a tragic incident, a stray bull went rogue and killed 2 persons in Sakchi Sheetala Mandir area in Jamshedpur Friday morning.
The police have barricaded the area and Jusco personnel have been informed for taking preventive action. The incident has sparked apprehension and fear in the entire area.
On a day the city was about to start celebrations of 3rd March, its Founder’s Day, things took a sad turn.
Friday morning in Jamshedpur, an unrestrained bull caused pandemonium on the streets near Sheetla Mandir under the jurisdiction of Sakchi police station.
At about 5:30 a.m. when people were still about to start their day, the stray bull turned hostile in the Sakchi area and began chasing and attacking the passers-by.
The bull tragically stomped two individuals to death. They were identified as Ashok Agrawal and Rajkishore.
With the assistance of residents and police, severely injured Ashok Agrawal and Rajkishore were rushed to MGM Hospital, but doctors declared them brought dead.
The police have blocked off the area to keep the bull from hurting anyone else, and Jusco has been alerted.
The bull is being controlled, but the incident has sparked terror and panic in the neighboring regions, especially the Sakchi Sheetla Mandir area.
