Jamshedpur: The state health and disaster management minister Banna Gupta paid homage to late J N Tata on his 184th birth anniversary on Friday.
Mr. Banna Gupta arrived at the Bistupur Postal Park and offered flowers to the statue of late J N Tata on his birth anniversary.
J N Tata’s birth anniversary is celebrated as Founder’s Day in Tata Group of companies as well as Jamshedpur.
As is the tradition for Tata Group every year, this year too the group companies and their employees as well as the citizens of Jamshedpur are celebrating the 184th birthday of founder, Jamshedji Tata.
On Thursday, Noel Tata, Vice Chairman of the Tata Group, inaugurated the lighting decorations at the historic Jubilee Park.
The primary event commemorating the Foundation Day was conducted at the Business Complex on Friday.
Banna Gupta, the state’s Health and Disaster Management Minister, paid his homage to J N Tata at Bistupur Postal Park.
Later, he remarked that J N Tata was a doyen of industry in India and the entire state, not just Jamshedpur, is paying respect to him.
