Jamshedpur: On the eve of the first day of Shri Ram Katha, Raghubar Das, the Chief Minister and Chief Patron of the Sidhgora Surya Mandir Committee, received Pandit Gaurangi Gauri Ji, a well-known katha vachak (story teller) from Ayodhya, the birthplace of Bhagwan Shri Ram.
Raghubar Das said that “Gaurangi Gauri” means “the goddess of bliss” or “Radha,” and invited Jamshedpur’s devotees and katha enthusiasts to join the eight-day Ramkatha with their families.
The Ramkatha is being organized to commemorate the third anniversary of the founding of the Ram Mandir on the precincts of the Sidhgora Suryadham complex.
The celebration has been named as Shri Ram Mahotsav, and the devotees from the entire city of Jamshedpur are participating with religious fervour in this.
On Tuesday, hundreds of people flocked to welcome the great Shobha Yatra with flowers. The Shobhayatra participants’ passion for the Ramkatha demonstrated their support for the Ramkatha.
The Katha was officially launched on Wednesday, and lakhs of devotees were enthralled in listening to Pandit Gaurangi Gauri Ji’s beautiful narration in the specially created pandal in the Shankh Maidan within Surya Dham complex.
Raghubar Das has organized the event, and the whole BJP, Raghuvar’s associates, and other organizations are working hard to make it successful.
Raghubar Das said that Shri Ramcharitmanas contains the essence of all scriptures and everyone should listen to Ram Katha with family.
