Jamshedpur: Work on leveling the Subarnarekha Aarti Ghat has now begun in earnest.
The Health and Disaster Management Minister of Jharkhand, Banna Gupta, who also happens to be the MLA for Jamshedpur West Assembly Constituency, is personally supervising the project.

He arrived at the site today with more than 50 laborers, two Poclain machines, two JCBs, two Hyvas, and one grader machine. He was accompanied by Captain Dhananjay Mishra of Jusco too.
The minister’s dream project, the Swarnrekha Aarti Mandap, will also include a Chhath Ghat, sitting benches for children, walkways, saplings, bathrooms, shaving pavilions, toilets, and an electrical system for the convenience of Jamshedpur residents.

Other amenities, such as a Havan Kund, garbage disposal area, administration building, and rooms for pujaris and purohits will also be built.
During the visit, Minister Gupta was accompanied by Jusco Captain Dhananjay Mishra, Swarnrekha Project officer Ravikant Chaudhary, Sujit Pandey, JNAC officials, Om Prakash Singh, Guddu Gupta, Sanjay Thakur, Bilal Gufrani, Sunil Gupta, Ashok Chaudhary, and others.
