It appears that instead of chatting away during their journey the passengers were treated to Sooryanarayanan’s songs. He sang some popular devotional songs and hymns written by Shaivite saints. He also entertained TN BJP chief K Annamalai with a hymn written by one of the 64 Nayanmars, Nandanar.
This is not the first time Sooryanarayanan is finding himself in the limelight. His prowess in traditional music at such a young age, and his soul soothing voice make him the centre of attention wherever he goes. Earlier Tamil MSM made another of his videos, where he sang at a temple, viral and took his voice to every household.
Sooryanarayanan is being mentored by Kuldeep M Pai, a Carnatic musician, who has been identifying talents in the field and producing excellent renditions of devotional music in Bharatiya languages under a campaign named Vande Guru Paramparaam.
