The people of the city welcome Year 2023 with worship of deities in temples
Jamshedpur: The people of Jamshedpur welcomed the first day of the Gregorian calendar year by offering prayers at Mandirs and other places of worship. A huge crowd was seen at different temples of the city.
On the occasion of the advent of the year 2023, a Hari Kirtan was organized by Jugsalai Durgabari Trust at Durgabari premises located at Jugsalai Station Road, Jamshedpur.
In this Hari Kirtan, not only from Jugsalai area but devotees from far and wide ensured their participation.
Since 2019, Hari Kirtan has been organized by the Jugsalai Durgabari Trust on the occasion of New Year continuously in the temple premises.
This year too a Hari Kirtan was organized with great enthusiasm and devotion.

Trustee Vishwanath Bhabhai said that Hari Kirtan is organized every year with the wishes that the new year bring happiness in the lives of citizens, wishing for the happiness and prosperity of the country and the state.

Since morning, a large number of devotees were seen standing in long queues in various temples of the city, praying to God for happiness and prosperity for themselves and their relatives.
