Angry relatives and locals block Rajnagar-Ganjia road
Jamshedpur: Two bike-borne youths died on the spot Monday afternoon in a tragic road accident near Kusumbani village on Rajnagar-Ganjia road under the jurisdiction of Rajnagar police station in Seraikela-Kharsawan district.
The accident and loss of 2 lives caused quite a sensation and anger among the locals who gathered at the site of occurrence. Hyva driver managed to flee the site of occurrence soon after the accident.
According to information received a Hyva laded with boulders was going from Rajnagar towards Ganjia, while the bike rider was returning from duty from Adityapur Industrial Area.
Meanwhile, near Kusumbani village, the Hywa hit the bike.
Not only this, the bike was dragged for about 100 meters.
In the incident, both the bike riders were fatally entangled under the wheels of the Hywa.
Locals gathered at the accident site.

The dead bodies could not be extricated for about 1 hour.
Later, after reaching the site, the police called JCB but JCB also failed in the rescue operation. Later, a Hydra crane had to be summoned.
For a long time, both the bodies remained stuck in the wheel of the vehicle.
The accident caused quite a commotion in the area.
The deceased have been identified as 22-year-old Sagar Mahto and 23-year-old Anil Mahto, both residents of Sufaldih of Dumardiha Panchayat. They were cousins too.
It is learnt that both were returning from duty from Adityapur, during which this accident happened.
On information, the relatives and family members of the deceased also reached the spot.
The accident occurred at around 1:00 pm Monday afternoon.
Even after about 3 hours, the dead bodies could not be removed.
On the other hand, the family members along with the angry villagers blocked the Rajnagar-Ganjia road.
The police continuned the rescue operation for a long time.
