France fans take a dig at referee Simon Marchiniak officiating the Qatar World Cup final. Argentina’s first and last goals were described as ‘unethical’.
The first goal was from a penalty. Fans claim that Di Maria was not fouled. He fell on his feet. The match ended in a 2-2 draw at the scheduled time. Messi gave the team the lead by scoring in extra time.
Alleging that Argentina had two extra footballers on the field at that time. Lautaro Martinez took the first shot. They entered the field while cheering at that time.
They could not go out before Messi scored with a shot. The demand to re-arrange the match has also been raised by capitalizing on that picture.
Argentina’s goal was claimed by France fans as illegal.
They have also started a petition.

Referee Simon Marchiniak opened up about the matter. Said, when Mbappe scored the second goal to equalize the team, seven additional French footballers were on the field.
He said, ‘France doesn’t mention this picture (shows the picture of the phone in Marchiniak’s hand) even once. So you can see when Mbappe scored, there were seven extra Frenchmen on the pitch.’
