Jamshedpur: A 5000 sq ft banquet hall and food zone is being planned for passengers and the general public of the city near the exit gate of Tatanagar Railway Station.
This hall is being constructed by the South Eastern Railway just opposite the exit gate of Tatanagar station.
The general public can use the hall for conducting weddings, birthdays, and other festivities. This project is being implemented by Mahavir Logistics in partnership with the South Eastern Railway.
This hall is being built at a cost of around 20 lakhs.
Separate toilets will be set up for men and women in order to maintain hygiene.
This banquet hall’s entrance will be near the Tatanagar exit gate. People in the city can plan birthday parties, weddings, and a variety of other events in this planned hall.
Parking facilities will also be built that can accommodate around 25 vehicles.
Customers would be charged Rs 28,500 for a function or programme. The hall has a seating capacity for 500 persons.
Station Director Raghuvansh Pratap Singh laid the foundation of the proposed banquet hall.
Those who were present on the occasion included Anjani Kumar Rai, Chief Commercial Inspector, Sunil Kumar Singh, Deputy SS Commercial, Rakesh Kumar Rai, Catering Inspector, Jitendra Kumar Rai, Health Inspector and others.
