Jamshedpur: As the year slowly draws to an end, the time for picnics has come and the lotus blooms at Jamshedpur’s Dimna Lake are drawing a large number of tourists from states adjoining Jharkhand, including Odisha and Bengal, in addition to different areas of Jharkhand.
Although virtually the whole city of Jamshedpur’s thirst is quenched by water from Dimna Lake, its panoramic view too offers much more than a water body.

Recently, a number of lotus blossoms have sprung up in the lake, giving it a special vibe. Additionally, a large number of visitors are arriving here, now that the specter of Coronavirus is behind us to a large extent.
Visitors from Orissa who have already been here claim that the gorgeous Dimna Lake is well-known and that the lotus flowers growing there add appeal to its atmosphere.
The number of footfalls in the vicinity of Dimna is expected to increase in the next few days and weeks and the visitors are expected to continue to arrive till late January.
