Jamshedpur: The BJP is planning a massive protest against the state government from November 7. The protests will continue till November 13.
The protests would be held to highlight the alleged corruption and anarchy due to inaction of Hemant Soren government in the state.
The BJP city unit held a meeting at Tulsi Bhavan and decided to hold massive demonstrations against the state government.
On Wednesday, as per the instructions of the state leadership, an important meeting of BJP Jamshedpur metropolis was held at Tulsi Bhawan auditorium in Bistupur.
The meeting discussed ways to make the demonstrations a success.
The meeting was presided over by the city BJP president Gunjan Yadav.
The party’s national vice president and the former chief minister Raghuvar Das, MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, former MLA Maneka Sardar, former state spokesperson cum in-charge of the meeting JB Tubid and state minister Rita Mishra were among those who attended the meetnig.
In the meeting, various aspects of the success of the Akrosh rally at the four block headquarters under Jamshedpur metropolis were discussed.
Gunjan Yadav said that between 7 to November 13 BJP workers will demonstrate at Karandih Block Office, Potka Block Office, Bodam Block Office and Patmada Block Office under Jamshedpur.
He said tha the protests will expose the state government’s corruption, unemployment, loot of mineral resources and stalled development works.
Addressing the meeting, the National Vice President of BJP and the former Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that even after nearly three years, the achievements of the Hemant government are negligible
