DC Vijaya Jadhav comes out on roads with crane, Admn move to clear road encroachments before Durga Puja
Jamshedpur: Acting swiftly on reports of frequent traffic snarls on Mango Roads, the Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum, Vijaya Jadhav, herself led an anti-encroachment drive Thursday. She was accompanied by officials as well as a crane. Several encroaching structures were also removed during the drive.
During this, ADM Law and Order NK Lal, DTO Dinesh Ranjan, Executive Officer of Mango Municipal Corporation and City Manager were also accompanying her during the drive.

The removal of encroachments was started from the Mango Municipal Corporation office.
From here the Deputy Commissioner left for Mango Chowk by walking.
The swift action caused a commotion of sorts in the area. A crane was also accompanying the officials.
Several shops were demolished during the drive.
At the same time, action was also taken against those who parked the vehicles at the roadside. Their vehicles were seized during the drive.
Along with this, fines were also collected from many shopkeepers.
Traffic snarls were caused regularly on Mango roads for the last few days.
At the same time, Durga Puja is also at hand and the roads as well as the markets are expected to remain crowded till Diwali festival.
