Jamshedpur: Aamir Khan’s latest movie Lall Singh Chaddha may have tanked on the box office in a big way.
Reports say that the film is finding it hard to get viewers in several theaters nationwide. Its performance has disappointed not only the trade analysts, but also well-known reviewers.
Most are showing their disappointment at this movie and the poor imitation of the original movie Forrest Gump.
In Jamshedpur too the film has completely failed in winning viewers. For the 12.30 p.m. show on Friday in Eyelex Cinemas in Mango not a single seat was booked in advance and all the seats were being shown as vacant on Book My Show at 11.12 a.m about 1 hour 18 minutes before the show.

In the same way, for the 12.25 p.m. show on Friday in PJP Cinepolis only 11 premium (Rs. 300) and 4 executive (Rs. 280) seats were booked till 11.15 a.m.. And not a single VIP seat (Rs. 600) was booked.

Reports from elsewhere in the country too indicate that the film has already sunk beyond imagination.
Well-known trade analyst Taran Adarsh has already remarked in a one word review that the movie disappoints.
The calls for boycott of the movie continue making rounds on social media. And these calls have affected the viewership and collection of the movie in a big way.
The latest to join the call for boycott is Monty Panesar, the former international cricketer, TV/ media personality and sports journalist.
In a tweet, he said: “Forrest Gump fits in the US Army because the US was recruiting low IQ men to meet requirements for the Vietnam War. This movie is total disgrace to India Armed Forces Indian Army and Sikhs !!Disrespectful. Disgraceful.
#BoycottLalSinghChadda”.
While, the movie Lall Singh Chaddha may be on its way to turn into a big disaster for Bollywood, a review of this movie on YouTube by Kamaal R Khan (KRK) is creating ripples and winning hearts.
Kamaal R Khan is a well-known film critic who has also been in the news for a few right and a few wrong reasons.
He has analyzed the movie threadbare in his review and has given it a very low rating.
His review has already been viewed by 2,20,694 people and has garnered 40,000 plus upvotes.
And Kamaal R Khan’s review leaves no one in doubt that this movie perhaps deserves the scorn that the public are heaping upon it.
