ISC 12th board results declared, 99.38% students pass
Jamshedpur: The CISCE, New Delhi has declared the results of ISC class 12 exams today. In Science, Himani Das of Loyola School became the city topper with 99 percent marks, while Vanshika of Loyola School with 99.5 percent marks in Commerce and Apala in Arts stream with 98 percent also became the city toppers.
Vanshika of Loyola School, who was the second national topper in the country in the ISC examination, has stood second in the country by scoring 99.5 marks in the commerce stream. Vanshika has got 100 marks in Maths, 100 in Economics, 99 in Commerce and 99 in English.
Earlier in the day, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi on Sunday declared the ISC (XII) results.
The result is now available on the websites cisce.org, results.cisce.org.
This year 99.38 percent of students have passed the exam.
In class 12th, 99.87 percent girl students and 99.54 percent students have passed.
This year 18 students have secured first position in class 12th.
All these students have secured 99.75% marks i.e. 399 marks out of 400.
Vanshika of Loyola School, who was the second national topper in the country in the ISC examination, has stood second in the country by scoring 99.5 marks in the commerce stream. Vanshika has got 100 marks in Maths, 100 in Economics, 99 in Commerce and 99 in English. Vanshika has an interest in commerce. She had got 98 percent marks in ICSE i.e. 10th, but she preferred commerce over other streams.
Her parents were also very supportive and never insisted on studying science.
Vanshika aims at joining a management course. She is trying to get admitted into top colleges of Delhi University.
After that, she intends to pursue a management course.
Her father Krishna Kumar is in Tata Steel and mother Savita Gupta is a homemaker.
She has also been a national level player of basketball and athletics and has also been very active in organizing school competitions.
