Jamshedpur: Seraikela-Kharsawan police have arrested three miscreants and sent them to jail on charges of illegal ganja transport and bike theft in Kapali OP area of Seraikela Kharsawan district.
The Chandil SDPO Sanjay Singh told the media that in the year 2020, an Innova car was seized by the police while transporting illegal ganja in Kapali. In that incident one accused Shahrukh Khan was already sent to jail. The other two miscreants managed to escape.
For disposing off the pending cases, Kapali police formed a team and two miscreants, Mohammad Firoz and Sheikh Ajgar, who were absconding and were charged under the NDPS Act were arrested from Musabani and sent to jail.
On the other hand, in the case relating to theft of two bikes Brahmanand Narayana Hospital area, the police raided and arrested one Akhtar Ansari alias Akhtar Bachha from Kapali and sent him to jail.
Along with this, the police have also recovered the stolen bike.
Police Inspector Pascal Toppo, SI Amit Kumar and SI Kasim Ansari were also present in the press conference.
Sanjay Singh said that the criminal history of the three arrested miscreants is being investigated.
