PLFI sub-zonal commander Santosh Kandulna arrested from Bandgaon

Huge success for West Singhbhum police in fight against naxals

Chaibasa: West Singhbhum Police have achieved a huge success in their fight against naxals, especially the the banned terrorist organization PLFI when they managed to arrest Santosh Kandulana, a hardcore naxal.

Santosh Kandulana was arrested from the severely naxal-affected Bandgaon police station area of the district.

The government had also announced a reward of Rs 2 lakh for his arrest.

A total of 33 cases related to murder and extremist activities were already registered against him in Bandgaon, Tebo, Karaikela, Khunti and Murhu police stations.

The SP of West Singhbhum Ashutosh Shekhar said that a loaded AK-47 rifle, 103 bullets and other weapons have been recovered from the arrested militant.

The Superintendent of Police said that the arrest of Santosh is a big success for the police.

He also said that Santosh Kandulana has been associated with PLFI for the last 10 years and presently he was the sub zonal commander of the organization.
