Ex-MP takes a jibe at Hemant Govt too, blames it for hike in holding tax
Jamshedpur: The former Jamshedpur MP and the present National Executive Member of Congress Dr. Ajoy Kumar has accused the central government of harassing Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case. On Wednesday, he said that this is being done so that the country’s attention can be diverted from Nupur Sharma case.
Dr. Ajoy Kumar also reacted sharply to the debate on communal matters in TV channels.
He said that an FIR will be lodged in this regard against such TV channels, which conduct debates on communal matters and unnecessarily work up to spread violence in the country.
Dr Ajoy Kumar raised questions over National Herald case and wondered as to how money laundering can happen in a company which was already a non-profitable company.
He said that the sole purpose is to harass Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi and mislead the people of the country.
Not only this, Dr. Ajay Kumar, taking a jibe at the Jharkhand government, has advised his party’s ministers and MLAs to advise the government by being vocal on the issues of public interest.
He said that despite being a mineral-rich state, Jharkhand government owes Rs 2200 crore to NTPC due to which the ordinary people of the state are being deprived of basic facilities like electricity.
Dr. Ajay Kumar also took dig at the state government on the holding tax hike issue.
He said that the ministers from his party should keep their point of view on this issue before the government, because due to the sudden increase in taxes, the masses are being forced to bear financial burden.
He said that as an ally of the government, it is his moral duty to make the government aware of the expectations of the people.
