Senior Manager of Mithila Motors found dead, suicide suspected

Jamshedpur: A senior manager of Mithila Motors, R R Srivastava, has allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at Sai Niwas flat located near Indo Danish Tool Room in Adityapur on Monday.

R R Srivastava had married only a month back with the girl he was in love with.

He was allegedly under mental stress for some reason. The deceased was a resident of Barigoda. But, after marriage, his wife was allegedly not ready to shift to his old house.

Since then, he lived with his wife by renting a flat in Adityapur itself.

An employee of Mithila Motors said that at 10:00 am he had a talk with the deceased. After that he went to Chaibasa. After finishing the task in Chaibasa, he called him on phone.

According to him, from 3:00 PM onwards he made about 20 calls. But his phone was busy. After a while, the wife of the deceased called the employee and informed him that R R Srivastava had committed suicide by hanging.

The wife said that R R Srivastava had called her and told her that he was going to hang himself.

After this, when a Mithila Motors official called his wife, his wife told him that when her brother went to the flat after finishing his duty, the flat was locked from inside. He knocked at the door, but no one opened the door. His brother had a key. When he opened the door with the key, he saw that R R Srivastava was hanging.

Soon after this, her brother informed her about it. Later, the deceased was rushed to MGM Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
