Wife of the deceased suspects foul play and has demanded a thorough investigations into the reasons of her husband’s death.
Jamshedpur: A security guard’s dead body was found some 100 m away from the company premises under suspicious circumstances at Adityapur Industrial Area. The wife alleged the bicycle and mobile was found on the company premises and that the ‘incident’ has happened within the company premises. The police are looking into all angles of the case.
According to family members, 55-year-old R Rajendra, a resident of Gosai Path under Kadma police station of the city, used to work as a security guard in a company of Adityapur Industrial Area for the last 3 years.
On Wednesday, he went to duty on a bicycle as usual.
When he did not return from his duty at night, his wife R Mahalaxmi sought information from the supervisor of the security guard through phone.
She got the Information that while the mobile and bicycle of her husband was on the premises, her husband was not present.
The family members reached the company premises but could not find any information. Wednesday morning, the dead body of R Rajendra was found in suspicious conditions at the roadside some 100 meters from the company premises.
The family members hurriedly took him to MGM Hospital, but the doctors declared him brought dead.
The family members informed the Adityapur police about the incident. The police reached the site and took the body in its possession and sent it for post-mortem.
The wife of the deceased, who reached MGM Hospital, said that her husband was on duty in Balaji Company located in Adityapur on Wednesday.
She claimed that that whatever happened must have happened when her husband was on duty.
She said that she got no information from the company management and security agency.
Suspecting foul play, she urged the district administration to ensure thorough investigation into the reasons of her husband’s death.
The police are looking into all angles in the case.
