Executive Committee of Press Club of Jamshedpur announced

Senior journalists included in advisory committee

Ravi and Santosh are the new working presidents of Press Club of Jamshedpur, while Anni and Shyam would be the new general secretaries.

Jamshedpur: The names of the office bearers and executive committee members of Press Club of Jamshedpur were announced by President Sanjeev Bhardwaj on Sunday.

Dainik Bhaskar’s senior journalist Santosh Kumar and ETV Bharat’s journalist Ravi Jha were made working presidents, while senior journalist Anni Amrita and Prabhat Khabar’s senior journalist Shyam Jha were given the responsibility of general secretary.

Dainik Jagran’s senior journalist BK Ojha was made the Senior Vice-President.

In a program organized at Bistupur Khalsa Club, the newly elected office-bearers were felicitated with certificates and bouquets.

Earlier, the newly elected president was honored by the Chief Electoral Officer and senior journalist IK Ojha. Mr. Ojha presented the certificate to the newly elected president of the Press Club to Sanjeev Bhardwaj.

For the first time in the city, the President of the Press Club of Jamshedpur has been elected through the election process.

After the election of Sanjeev Bhardwaj unopposed in the elections held on Friday, he was given the responsibility of expanding the committee.

In the program organized on Sunday, former club president B Srinivas, general secretary Gulab Singh and founder president Brajesh Singh were present as chief guests.

President Sanjeev Bhardwaj honored all the guests present by presenting them shawls and bouquets.

The welcome address was given by senior journalist Kaushal Singh while Jitendra Kumar conducted the program.
