A Mushidabad youth was found dead on board Gitanjali Express on way to Howrah from Pune. He was reportedly unwell. Family members have been informed.
Jamshedpur: A passenger Rasdul Sekh died during travel from Pune to Howrah by Gitanjali Express. His dead body was found on the train. The deceased was 26-year-old and was unwell. He has been identified as a resident of West Bengal. The family has been informed, while the dead body has been sent for post mortem by the Tatanagar GRP.
During the Tatanagar GRP investigation, which reached on receiving the information, a ticket from Pune to Howrah was recovered from the deceased’s belongings.
According to the Aadhar card, the deceased was identified as a resident of West Bengal.
For now, the police have informed the family and sent the body for post-mortem.
The incident occurred on Wednesday. The 26-year-old passenger named Rasdul Sekh was travelling by Gitanjali Express and he was found dead.
He was identified as a resident of Murshidabad who was traveling from Pune to Howrah by Pune Howrah Gitanjali Express.
According to GRP, his health suddenly deteriorated in Jharsuguda where he got immediate treatment at the station and after that started the journey.
It is suspected that he died due to sudden deterioration in health during the journey itself.
Here, as soon as the Tatanagar Railway Police got the information, the GRP started the investigation by removing the body of the deceased passenger from the bogie of the train.
Later, the relatives were informed about this.
It is being suspected that the passenger died due to heart attack due to ill health during the journey.
The police have taken the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem.
