Nagrik Suvidha Manch demands police case on Jubilee Park issue

Nagrik Suvidha Manch has submitted a written application to Bistupur police on the issue of closure of Jubilee Park Road requesting that a case under section 353 of IPC be registered.

Jamshedpur: A delegation of Nagrik Suvidha Manch met the Bistupur Police Station in-charge on Sunday and submitted a written application seeking registration of a case under section 353 of IPC against Jusco MD Tarun Daga for having closed the Jubilee Park road without the permission of district administration.

In the written complaint, the Manch has said that a case should be filed under Section 353 of IPC against the company management as it closed the park road without permission of the district administration and without issue of any notification.

The convenor of Nagrik Suvidha Manch said that earlier the citizens had thought that the road might have been closed due to corona pandemic. However, it was not the case.

He said that Jubilee Park Road is very important for the citizens and the daily commuters. Thousands of people use this road for their daily work.

He said that the public has been deprived of a civic utility and appropriate action should be taken in the matter.

He termed the decision to close the gate permanently as a well-thought out design of the company management. He demanded that a case under section 353 of IPC be registered against the company.
