Banna Gupta supporters burn effigy of BJP MLA C P Singh

Infuriated at the alleged objectionable comment made by the MLA C P Singh against the health minister Banna Gupta, a number of supporters of the latter hit the streets and burnt effigy of the former.

Jamshedpur: The supporters of Health Minister and Jamshedpur West MLA Banna Gupta led by his IT Cell workers held a protest against MLA C P Singh at Pardih Chowk and burnt his effigy. The protest was being led by the patron of Banna Gupta’s IT Cell Pappu Singh.

Pappu Singh, Patron of Banna Gupta IT Cell on the occasion said that the supporters of Banna Gupta have been hurt by the unsavoury remarks of BJP MLA CP Singh.

MLA C P Singh had reportedly made some unsavoury remark against Banna Gupta in the Assembly during a discussion. This had caused ruckus inside the Assembly well too.

On Tuesday, Banna Gupta supporters took to the streets to oppose the remarks made by C P Singh also burnt an effigy of MLA C P Singh at Pardih Chowk.

Those who took part in the protests included Pappu Singh, Bhavani Singh, Pintu Mahto, Manoj Bhagat, Abhinandan Singh Madan Mahto, Sanjay Ojha, Narad Singh, Gopal Singh, Akhilesh Singh, Ajay Singh Chauhan, Raja Sheikh, Rohit Lalu, Sonu Pramanik and others.
