Jamshedpur: In a shocking development, a young man was murdered by unknown criminals by slitting his throat in front of Zone No. 3B Ghoda Mandir Road under Birsa Nagar police station.
On receiving information about the incident, the police have started investigating the matter.
A Tiwari, 22, was murdered by slitting his throat at 4.30 am near the fish market in Birsanagar Zone No. 3B Hathi Ghoda Road. The deceased was an accused in a case and police were looking for him.
Mutual enmity is said to be the reason behind the murder.
The deceased was on the run for the last several days.

Sources said that the crime took place where he stayed frequently in connection with his activities.
The site of occurrence had blood splattered everywhere.
The police registered a case and sent the body for post-mortem.
On the other hand, SSP Dr M Tamil Vanan reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported.
During this, the father of the deceased met him and demanded immediate arrest of the killers.
Giving information about the incident, the Senior Superintendent of Police Dr M Tamil Vanan said that the police had received information about some fight between two groups last night.
However, nothing was found when police reached the site at that time. The police again got information about the murder of a young man named A Tiwari at 4:30 am.
He said that a week ago, the deceased had gone absconding after a case was registered against him.
The murder was carried out by unknown persons in Birsanagar zone number 3B on Wednesday morning.
Prima facie it looks like a case of murder with a knife, he said.
The police are investigating the case. No arrests have been reported yet.
