2 arrested with stolen laptop and mobiles

Bistupur police have arrested two persons with stolen laptop, two mobiles and some documents. These items were stolen from a woman riding an auto-rickshaw on July 19.

Jamshedpur: In a significant success, Bistupur police have arrested two accused in the case relating to theft of a woman’s laptop, two mobiles and a bag full of other documents from the autorickshaw.

The theft had taken place on July 19 last.

After interrogation, the police sent both of them to judicial custody on Thursday.

Those who were arrested included N Patnaik, a resident of MGM police station area and S Sharma of Burmamines Lal Baba Foundry area.

The city police have also recovered the stolen laptop and two mobiles.

Along with this, the bike used in the theft was also recovered.

The incident had occurred on July 19. I K Panda, a resident of Adityapur Colony, had filed a case against two unidentified bike riders for stealing bags from her when she was riding an autorickshaw.
