Jamshedpur: The Jamshedpur West MLA and the state Health and Disaster Minister Banna Gupta on Sunday visited the Nature Park in Mango. He expressed his displeasure at the condition of the park and instructed the officials present there to improve the conditions in the park.
The Nature Park is situated in Azad Nagar, Mango which falls in his own constituency.
Morning walkers were facing a lot of trouble due to the filth in the nature Nature Park.
Locals say that snakes too are a common site in the park.
The issue was raised by some locals with the Health Minister Banna Gupta. He visited the Nature Park and inspected it himself.
He was accompanied with the officials of the Forest Department as well as the Mango Municipal Corporation.
The DFO and the Special Officer of Mango Municipal Corporation welcomed the minister with a bouquet of flowers.
The Health Minister asked the officials to improve the condition of the park at the earliest.
Later, Banna Gupta said that the Nature Park in Mango functions under the Forest Department.
Nature Park will soon be beautified at a cost of 2.30 lakh. This will give the park a new look.
He said that modern facilities would soon be provided for morning walkers in the park.
