Pakistan PM Imran Khan’s effigy burnt
Jamshedpur: Protests were held in Jamshedpur against vandalism and desecration of Ganapati Mandir by Islamists in Bhong village in Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab in Pakistan. The protestors also burnt an effigy of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.
A number of protestors led by members of Hindu Jagran Manch gathered at Sakchi Roundabout and burnt effigy of Pakistan Prime Minister. They also shouted slogans against Pakistan government and the urged the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take appropriate action to curb harassment of Hindus and other minorities in Pakistan.
The incident of vandalism and burning of Ganesh Mandir in Pakistan has created a lot of anger in India and several outfits have condemned the incident and have demanded that the international community take notice of inhuman treatment of minorities, especially of Hindus and Sikhs, in Pakistan.
Balbir Mandal, district president of Hindu Jagran Manch condemned the incident and said that this is not the first incident when a Hindu Mandir has been targeted by the Islamists in Pakistan. In fact, this is a regular occurrence in Pakistan and the Indian government should take appropriate action on this to ensure safety and security of Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan.
