Jamshedpur: A meeting of Bharatiya Vyapar Mandal was held on Friday at a hotel in Jamshedpur. Several businessmen and traders took membership of the Mandal on the occasion.
The meeting started with a prayer for those who have succumbed to covid-19 pandemic.
Several new members were also felicitated in the meeting.
A number of city traders and businessmen became members of the Vyapar Mandal in the meeting.
The state president of Bharatiya Vyapar Mandal Pawan Kumar Agrahari said that the organisation aims at uniting the businesspersons and traders of all the 24 districts of Jharkhand and providing security to them.
He said that the organisation is not competing with any other outfit.
Also, special care is being taken to ensure the participation of women in the organisation, he said.
He added that every section of businessmen and entrepreneurs can become members of the organisation.
They would be provided safety by the organisation.
He said that small shopkeepers of rural areas would also be given membership so that they too can enjoy protection of the organisation.
