Jamshedpur: Dr. Arun Kumar has taken charge as the new superintendent of MGM Hospital, the biggest government hospital in Kolhan division.
The new superintendent has said that making the arrangements and infrastructure in the hospital would be his top priority.
On Tuesday, the doctors of the hospital welcomed the new superintendent with a bouquet.
Superintendent Dr. Arun Kumar said that efforts will be made to develop a new work culture in the hospital premises, for which preparations have already been started.
He said that there was a need for a better synergy between the doctors, staff and the patients.
He said that providing better health facilities to the patients is the singular objective of the government hospital.
In the recent past, there have been many controversies centred around the hospital bringing disrepute to the hospital.
There are many who feel that it would not be easy for the new superintendent to bring about improvement in the hospital.
However, he has started with a new commitment and new vigour.
During an interaction with the media, Dr. Arun Kumar, the new superintendent of MGM Hospital said that the hospital will show commitment in treating patients.
He said that when the superintendent himself will take care of the patients, then all the doctors of the hospital will also have to serve the patients.
He told that in tune with the available resources, maximum possible facilities will be made available to the patients in the hospital.
The superintendent said that the hospital management has completed preparations for meeting the challenge of the expected third wave of corona pandemic.
He appealed to the common people to follow the guidelines of the government to prevent spread of corona pandemic.
