Jamshedpur: A new 100-bed facility is soon coming up in MGM Hospital, Sakchi. The SDO visited the hospital premises on Saturday and conducted a preliminary survey of the resources available.
If all goes well, the largest government hospital of Kolhan will soon get 100 more beds for the convenience of the patients.
The SDO Sandeep Kumar Meena visited the hospital and inspected the construction site on Saturday.
He was accompanied by the Superintendent of the hospital Sanjay Kumar Singh and deputy superintendent Nakul Chaudhary.
Later, the SDO Sandeep Kumar Meena said that a new hospital of 100 beds is being constructed and all aspects and resources are being examined.
He said that the oxygen plant of the hospital was also checked and examined and instructions have been given for improvement.
He said that a high quality CT Scan machine is being procured from Germany. Orders have been placed for the CT Scan machine.
He said that both tasks have to be completed within three months. Preparations are on and are now at the final stages.
He said preparations are being reviewed and necessary guidelines have been issued.
