New Delhi: Deepika Kumar, the superstar archer from Jharkhand, has completed a tat-trick of gold medals at the Archery World Cup stage 3 in Paris on Sunday after winning the women’s individual recurve event.
She beat Elena Osipova of Russia 6-0 in the final to clinch her third gold meda at the tournament.
She also won the gold in the mixed team as well as women’s individual recurve events.
Teaming up with her husband Atanu Das, she also beat the Netherlands due of Sjef van den Berg and Gabriela Schloesser 5-3.
Recurve Women Singles represented by our Ex- TAA Archer Deepika Kumar won Gold Medal defeating Russia’s Elena Osipova by 6-0.
Ms. Purnima Mahato (Dronacharya Awardee and Tata Archery Academy Coach) was the Coach of the team during this World Cup Stage-3.
