Youth Congress members celebrate Rahul Gandhi’s birthday by donating blood

Jamshedpur: To celebrate Rahul Gandhi’s birthday, a blood donation camp was organized by East Singhbhum District Youth Congress Committee on Saturday.

The Indian National Congress spokesperson Dr Ajoy Kumar was present on the occasion.

Dr Ajoy Kumar said that for more than a year now, Corona has wreaked havoc all over the country. There is a shortage of blood all over the country. In such a situation, organising blood donation camp by Youth Congress is commendable.

He said that Youth Congress has organised blood donation camp on the birthday of Rahul Gandhi. For this the Youth Congress deserves kudos.

The State General Secretary Dr Paritosh Singh said that Youth Congress has taken this decision in view of the problems being faced by common people due to lack of blood.

He also urged other social organisations to donate more and more blood so that the problems of the blood shortage can be solved.

The district president Sanjiv Ranjan said that foodgrain distribution and blood donation camp to celebrate Rahul Gandhi’s birthday reflects the principles of Rahul Gandhi. He said that Rahul Gandhi stands for helping the common man.

He said that all the people who have donated blood deserve to be congratulated. Donating blood is an important task.
