1 sapling to be planted in memory of each member who died due to pandemic
Jamshedpur: Marwari Yuva Manch Jamshedpur Unit will, plant 501 saplings on World Environment Day on June 5, 2021 Saturday. The saplings would be named after those who have succumbed to Covid-19 pandemic.
A communique from the Jamshedpur unit of Marwari Yuva Manch said that the community has lost several of its members due to Covid-19 pandemic. Manch would offer its tributes to all those people by planing a sapling for them on World Environment Day.
Besides, each committee member of Marwari Yuva Manch would also plant at least 11 saplings at their home or near their residence.
The members of Manch would also carry out an awareness programme and would try to inform the public about the need to Go Green.
Anvika Motors would also emphasise the need to promote usage of electric vehicles during these awareness programmes.
A programme to mark a beginning of all these initiatives formally would be held at Mahakaleshwar Mandir premises at Shiv Ghat in Jugsalai at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
The awareness drive would be launched at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Sai Nursing Home, Adityapur.
