Seraikela:- Jharkhand DGP Neeraj Sinha on Saturday visited Raizama, Kandrakuti, Arhanga, Ichadih, Sulaidih, Janalam and Baridih villages in the severely naxal-affected areas of Seraikela district.
During his visit, he, along with the villagers of the area, joined the Janata Darbar and got acquainted with the problems of the common people. Strictly in keeping with the Covid-19 guidelines in the Janata Darbar, villagers were seated in round circles.
The villagers informed the DGP about different problems being faced by the villagers of Gomiyadih, Kubasal, Ichadih, Sulaidih, Kuchai, Kharsanwan. They also highlighted the condition of the roads leading to the village and the bridge.
The villagers apprised the DGP about the problems being faced due to lack of mobile network, demand for check dams and hand pumps for adequate water for drinking purposes as well as for agriculture. The DGP Neeraj Sinha assured them that steps would be taken to solve all the problems soon.
On this occasion, as a part of Civic Action Program, sari, dhoti, notebooks and pens were distributed among the common villagers by the DGP.
Also jerseys, pants, footballs were distributed among the entire football teams.
Soon after the program, the Director General of Police inspected the security arrangements at the Police Camp set up in the highly naxal affected area and necessary instructions were given to ensure the safety and security of the police camp.
During the program, Additional Director General of Police, Special Branch, Murari Lal Meena, Inspector General of Police Operations Amol Vishnukant Homkar, Deputy Inspector General of Police, CRPF, Superintendent of Police Seraikela Mohd Arshi and other police officers were present.
