Tata Steel hands over 300 oxygen concentrators to Jharkhand Government

Jamshedpur: Extending a helping hand to the state government in its fight against COVID-19, Tata Steel today provided 300 oxygen concentrators to the Jharkhand Government.

Mr. Sanjay Mohan Srivastava, Chief Resident Executive, Ranchi, Tata Steel handed over these oxygen concentrators on behalf of the company to Mr. Arun Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Health, Education and Family Welfare Department, Jharkhand.

These oxygen concentrators have been imported from America and China.

Thanking Tata Steel for this support to the state, Mr. Singh said that Tata Steel has always taken the initiative in the interest of society and has always worked closely with the government to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the state.

In other initiatives to fight COVID-19, Tata Steel has collaborated with the State Government to widen the supply chain of Liquid Medical Oxygen in the State.

Under the guidance of the Oxygen Task Force of the state, Tata Steel is supplying Liquid Oxygen from its steel plants located in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.
