Two arrested from Mango for bike theft

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur police have arrested two persons in connection with a bike theft and have sent them to judicial custody.

According to city police, on November 22 last, a Yamaha Motorcycle bearing registration no. JH05 CA 9408 was stolen from the parking lot of Rajmahal Apartment at Pardih Road.

The police did an investigation in a professional manner and finally zeroed in on one Wasimuddin Khan and one Sanjay Mukherjee for being involved in the theft.

The police have also seized a Hyundai car used in the theft from their possession.

The officer in charge of Mango police station said that the owner of the stolen bike Aquib Javed had filed a complaint about the theft of his bike.

The police formed a tea and based on the CCTV footage managed to arrest the persons involved in the theft.

The police said that they are also looking into the possibility of a gang being involved in such crimes and hope to get a lead soon.
